Happy New Year!

Did you get to sleep in this morning? I certainly did. Right now, I'm still in bed watching the Rose Parade. When I was a kid, I always dreamed of some day camping out on Colorado Boulevard overnight to see the Rose Parade on New Year's Day. Maybe in 2013 I'll make it.

Also - do you know why the Rose Parade had to be held January 2 this year? It has to do with horses. Somehow, my mom already knew the answer. Moms know everything.
